Coronavirus: French professionals in the joinery, blinds & shades and sector related to closure of grounds and buildings is preparing for a gradual resumption of their activity

After several weeks of lockdown in France, synonymous with stopping in their activity, the professionals of the joinery, blinds & shades and closure sector is preparing for the resumption!

Craftsmen

Conforming to the SNFA (professional organization representative of designers, manufacturers and installers of aluminium joinery) and the UFME (Union of Manufacturers of Joinery), the actors in the sector have agreed for a gradual and partial restart from weeks 15 – 16. A smooth recovery in this always sensitive period, where the watchword remains the establishment and compliance with the sanitary conditions necessary to protect employees and customers.

The Guide on resuming activity “construction” in the interior and exterior joinery

Regarding construction and carpentry sector, the UFME’s working group “Securing diffusion of construction” has also written a specific guide related to interventions and activities for individuals. Completing the Health and safety recommendation guide for the continiuity of construction activities published on the 2nd by OPPBTP , this document provides concrete examples of solutions that can be put in place for the resumption of construction in compliance with the sanitary standards.
